We wish you a beautiful autumn filled with vibrant colors, sunny weather, and most importantly, the energy of our Ruslana! September brought us an unprecedented number of concerts, so let’s take a look at them together in this issue of the irregular newsletter Ruslana's Wild Heart News. Get comfortable, or better yet, don’t sit still—because it’s always better to dance to Ruslana's music. ;-) Here’s a selection of the best videos and other news from the past period. Enjoy reading and listening!
After the concert in Cologne, which we covered in a separate report, there was another one in Dnipro. Fortunately, there was no air raid alarm during the performance. Ruslana remarked that with our Ukrainian rhythms, we fear no challenges!
The next day, a sunny concert took place in Kyiv in front of the shopping mall "Piramida". Enjoy the wild performance of the song Bujna, as well as the beautiful Svitanok, exclusively available in this reel on Facebook. The performance, supported by the dance group "Zhyttya", was in aid of the First Presidential Brigade "Bureviy" defending the area around Lyman.
During the concert in Dnipro, Ruslana's tambourine couldn’t withstand the immense energy and tore!
At the "Pokolinia" festival in Kyiv, after the concert ended, a charity event was held to support the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. The audience enthusiastically competed for a flag signed by Ruslana and her tambourine. These moments show how deeply Ukrainians are involved in the common cause. Special thanks to Nikita, who bought the flag for 500 dollars, and to Olga, who paid 20,000 hryvnias for the tambourine. Glory to Ukraine!
On September 22nd, the Sun began its journey south, marking the autumn equinox. While spring arrives in the Southern Hemisphere, autumn comes to us. According to old traditions, if it’s sunny today, winter is not yet near. The Sun has always inspired us, and its warmth will remain in our hearts. That evening, summer gently gave way to autumn, and we bid farewell to it with hope for a new beginning.
Let’s return once again to Cologne. Ruslana arrived here in early September at the invitation of the Blau-Gelbes Kreuz e.V. organization and was amazed by their extensive support for Ukraine. Every member of the team uses their skills from pre-war life to the fullest, and their work is truly inspiring. Backpacks with tactical medical supplies and other equipment are literally saving lives. If you are in Germany and want to support Ukraine, you can reach out to the Blau-Gelbes Kreuz e.V. organization.
Ruslana thanks the organizers of the charity concert for Ukraine's Defender's Day. These are our brave men and women currently fighting on the front lines. Their courage, resilience, and patriotism allow us to be here today together. Glory to the Ukrainian army and everyone contributing to the victory!
On October 1st, Ruslana reminded us of the Feast of the Intercession of the Theotokos, which is also Ukraine’s Defender's Day. She expressed deep gratitude to all those fighting for freedom and called for support through donations to trusted funds.
Over 102,000 UAH was raised for drones on Ukraine's Defender's Day through the Dignitas fund. Ruslana expressed her gratitude to the team, including Liuba Shipovich and Maria Berlinska, for their work. She urged continued contributions for drones and technological support for the Ukrainian army, sharing a link to a new fundraiser.
Ruslana shared the story of her dog, Chudo ("Miracle"), whom she took straight off the streets in the Carpathians. She mentioned that she has also given a home to three more dogs and a cat, who were also rescued from the streets. She appealed for support for animals that lost their homes due to the war.
